As mobility continues to become more strategic to IT organizations, this popular driver is not surprising. To provide its mobile users with flexibility, organizations must use a mobility platform allowing for the support, optimization and management of a broad range of handheld devices.
Other top drivers behind respondents' enterprise mobility management upgrade or purchase: support for personal devices, at 36% -- which was greater than the need for support of corporate-owned devices, at 24%; support for mobile app management, at 30%; and improved integration with other enterprise applications and/or management platforms, at 24%.
