Intronis backup software update features new dashboard, reporting tool

Intronis has released the latest version of its EchoPlatform backup software. Also this week, Xangati launched a global channel program; more news.

Intronis has released the latest version of Echoplatform, its backup software for IT service providers. The Summer Release '15 of the Intronis backup software introduces a new dashboard and other enhancements.

The new dashboard provides a comprehensive view of the Echoplatform portfolio, while filtering options allow service providers to drill down into the specifics of any client account.

Intronis partners will also see a new reporting tool with software update. The Executive Summary report generator automatically emails reports from the service provider to its customers and showcases the value of its services, said Chris Crellin, vice president of product management at Intronis.

The Summer Release '15 of Intronis Echoplatform is now generally available to partners. Crellin said it will be rolled out in phases to existing Intronis partners over the next few weeks.
