Distributor Tech Data has added InnoviMobile's enterprise mobile application development services to its portfolio after signing an exclusive agreement with the company this week. The agreement allows Tech Data to provide InnoviMobile's services for smartphones, tablets and wearable devices to its U.S. resellers through its Mobile Solutions and Retail division.
The two companies have updated the go-to-market process for InnoviMobile's enterprise mobile app development services and productized InnoviMobile's portfolio, which will be sold through the channel at flat fees using SKUs. InnoviMobile's services include InnoviStart, a starter app development package; InnoviApps mobile app development services; and InnoviCloud hosting services.
The distributor has also bolstered its networking portfolio. Last week, Tech Data signed an agreement with remote access technology provider NCP Engineering to distribute NCP's virtual private network (VPN) products. Under the agreement, Tech Data will provide its North American channel of small and medium-sized business solution providers with NCP Secure Entry VPN Clients through its Advanced Infrastructure Solutions division. Tech Data will also offer NCP Secure Enterprise Solutions for larger deployments. Until the end of July, Tech Data resellers can take advantage of a five-point discount on all NCP products.
Aerohive Networks introduces global partner program
Aerohive Networks has launched the Aerohive Advantage Partner Program. Partner benefits include online training and certification, joint marketing and sales collaboration and discounts and incentives. The vendor has appointed channel strategist Johnna Bowley as vice president of worldwide sales operations and global channels to head the new program.
Aerohive will roll out the partner program globally throughout the next six months.
Infinio appoints Bob Skelley as VP of global channels
Server-side software vendor Infinio has named former Dell channel chief Bob Skelley as its new vice president of global channels. In his new role, Skelley will oversee all channel and partner relationships and work to expand Infinio's market opportunity for its storage acceleration products for virtualized data centers.
