Acronis rolls out enhanced Acronis Partner Program in North America

This week in channel news, recovery and data protection vendor Acronis redesigned its partner program; Ingram Micro and Arcserve signed an exclusive distribution deal; more news.

Recovery and data protection vendor Acronis has revamped its channel partner program for selling the company's suite of data protection products.

The redesigned Acronis Partner Program features Authorized, Gold and Platinum tiers based on sales performances, certification achievement and marketing collaboration. Benefits include training and certification for the Acronis Suite at Acronis Academy, either online or on-site. The program also offers access to the Acronis Renewal Manager, co-op and marketing development funds (MDF), and complimentary not-for-resale Acronis software and services for internal use and demonstrations. Partners will also receive free and unlimited technical support through email, chat or the company's Knowledge Base website. Top-tier partners will receive 24/7 support by phone. 

The program is currently available to North American partners and will roll out in EMEA in the second quarter and APAC in the third quarter.

Talari Networks overhauls partner program

Software-defined WAN vendor Talari Networks Inc. has launched the enhanced Talari Smart Partner Program. The program offers a new training curriculum and modules for sales, technical implementation and operation support personnel. Benefits of the program include enhanced deal registration discounts to partners that invest in certification and training as well as front-end and back-end infrastructure to reward high performance, according to Randy Schirman, vice president of worldwide sales at Talari. The company is also providing its partners with enablement tools, such as business-planning tools, sales and technical presentations, an MDF program, and email and webinar campaigns.

Ingram Micro and Arcserve sign exclusive deal

Distributor Ingram Micro Inc. has received exclusive rights to market, sell and support Arcserve's portfolio of data protection and recovery products to channel partners in the U.S. and Canada. Under the agreement, Ingram Micro will support Arcserve's partner program and identify growth opportunities for Arcserve and its partners using its Business Intelligence Center.

BitTitan debuts email and data migration service

BitTitan has introduced the BitTitan Partner Advisory Service to support its partners' email and data Office 365 migration projects. The vendor's BitTitan Cloud Rangers group of Microsoft-certified partners will provide the new service. According to the company, Partner Advisory Service was designed to enable partners to succeed in complex enterprise migration projects.

Avnet Technology Solutions launches uRenew portal

Distributor Avnet Technology Solutions has released Avnet uRenew, a partner portal for U.S. and Canadian solution provider and supplier partners. Avnet uRenew aims to simplify the renewal process for service contracts by providing visibility into renewal opportunities spanning the technology vendors they support. The portal provides a centralized view of partners' service contracts as well as data analytics related to renewal tracking, opportunity management and sales transformation.
