Distributor Tech Data Corp. has expanded its carrier portfolio through a master solution provider agreement with AT&T as part of AT&T's Channel Alliance Program.
The agreement authorizes Tech Data to act as a Master Solution Provider agent for AT&T and provides a portfolio of mobile activations and products in the U.S. through its Tech Data Mobile Solutions division. Under the agreement, Tech Data's solution provider partners can now access new benefits, which include increased rewards for sales, additional resources and reach, training and education, and incentives. Tech Data Mobile Solutions will work to enable solution providers to create bundled data offerings focused on vertical markets, as well as offer support for the channel, including enterprise end users and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
Naverisk integrates with Vorex PSA
As part of the new relationship, Naverisk RMM and service desk platform will integrate with Vorex PSA software, creating a business productivity and managed services offering. The new relationship is part of Naverisk's focus on investing in its technical alliances with PSA platforms.
The relationship signals a shift for Vorex, Naverisk noted. Until recently, Vorex maintained a pure-play, direct sales model. Now it is focusing on a channel-friendly, business enablement model that embraces IT service providers.
Naverisk will offer the Vorex integration in its Naverisk 2015 R1 release in April.
Global Convergence Inc. expands its mobility services portfolio
Distributor Global Convergence Inc. (GCI) has enhanced its enterprise mobility service offerings for channel partners. GCI now provides wireless and mobility assessments, enterprise-wide mobility design and consulting services, global deployment services, security and authentication products, and managed services for global devices.
GCI's new enterprise mobility service offerings come through its acquisition of Radiant Networks, a wireless engineering company.
