Customer storage purchasing intentions study, spring 2009

Our spring 2009 purchasing intentions study surveyed almost 700 storage buyers at customer sites to find out what they'll be spending money on this year -- and how much they'll be spending -- as well as which vendors they like the best.

Storage magazine has been surveying storage buyers at customer sites twice a year for the past seven years, in its Purchasing Intentions series of studies. The most recent research, conducted this spring, reveals what technologies customers will be spending money on this year and why, how much they'll be spending, which technologies will experience growth this year, which ones will wane, which vendors are in favor for which product categories, where the trends are headed and what priorities are driving their purchasing decisions.
