Definition Service Provider Program

The Service Provider Program is Symantec’s partner program for managed service providers, hosted application providers, Internet service providers and telecommunication companies. By becoming a member of the Service Provider Program, these partners can incorporate Symantec’s security services into their own offerings. The Service Provider Program is part of the Partner Program.

In order to qualify for the Service Provider Program, partners must meet minimum requirements to bundle services and complete technical support training. They can choose between a variety of user-bands and other options, including white-labeling and operational integration, providing automation and self-provisioning capabilities. Symantec services available for integration include email security (antivirus, antispam, image control and content control), web security (antivirus, antispyware and URL filtering), email archiving and endpoint protection.

Symantec provides partners with customized sales, marketing and technical support, as well as a training and certification program.
