VCE channel guy Koliopoulos jumps ship

Pete Koliopoulos, who shepherded The VCE Co. through some early rough waters around its channel game plan, left the company and joined Arrow as VP of marketing for Arrow ECS, according to his LinkedIn bio.

Koliopoulos was VP, global partner marketing at VCE. No one has that job now, at least according to The VCE Web site.

Partners this week did not appear concerned, one noted that the VCE had cleaned up its act when it came to channel conflict and was easier to work with than in the past.

According to the LinkedIn profile, Koliopoulos moved from VCE in June.

IPv6 needs to mature a lot before we SMBs can think about it. Currently it looks like a minefield.

A gradual process that involves dual-stack devices and a managed transition. Security issues need to be correlated and risk profiles need to be maintained or lowered.
