Securonix grows program for MSSP partners, adds NTT, Wipro

Securonix Inc., a provider of security information and event management technology, has expanded its program for MSSP partners and managed detection and response providers, having added services firms such as NTT Data, CGI, LTI, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro.

Securonix, based in Addison, Texas, grew its partner base by 30 to 35 companies since launching its Global MSSP and MDR Program in June 2019. MSSP partners typically embed Securonix’s technology within their security services. Earlier this year, consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton tapped Securonix’s platform for use in its SIEM-as-a-service offering. Verizon, meanwhile, uses Securonix SIEM in its MDR service, which also rolled out in 2020.

Securonix Fuel is the latest update to the company’s MSSP and MDR partner effort. That aspect of the partner program provides a new partner portal built on Salesforce, training and certification for sales and pre-sales, and dedicated teams for sales and onboarding. Securonix Fuel also includes free training, professional services and MSSP/MDR tiered pricing as well as identity- or events-per-second-based pricing options. Another component is SearchMore, which Securonix described as a “community-powered threat hunting capability.”

David Wagner, vice president of global MSSP business, said Securonix is focused on growing within the MSSP market. “We think that is where the industry is going,” he said, noting that customers need to hire third-party providers to have “eyes-on-glass” monitoring at reasonable prices.

Securonix’s MSSP and MDR partner program has provided 20% of the company’s annual contract value in the first half of 2020. The company said the program will likely generate 40% or more of annual contract value by 2021.
