Service providers need to consider a myriad of requirements for BYOD, but security is particularly important. One way providers can differentiate themselves is by offering tiered levels of services based on the end user's location.

Depending on whether an employee is on his or her home Wi-Fi network, a public network at an airport or coffee shop, or any of a dozen other scenarios, a cloud provider could offer the ability to automatically adjust an employee's level of access and an application's security policies based on what type of network the employee is using.
