Red Hat JBoss growth, partner program changes bring opportunities

Red Hat's JBoss middleware business is growing twice as fast as the company's Linux business.

And that's just one of several opportunities for Red Hat partners this year, according to Roger Egan, head of the company's North American channel. In addition to Red Hat JBoss, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) will also see growth because of the recession -- much like the boost that Linux received during the dot-com bust of 2000 and 2001, Egan said.
