Last month, Channel Marker readers seemed fixated on the big boy vendors and, no surprise here, Windows 7.

The most read blog for the month was a pithy three-graph entry on Microsoft setting the store date for its next Windows client. Cisco and IBM were also on the agenda with billions of dollars of Cisco gear nearing the end of support and IBM nudging partners to be more sociable. Oh, and Microsoft said Google's new Outlook sync screwed up Outlook.

Here are the most read Channel Marker blog entries for June:

Win 7 promised for Oct. 22
Microsoft got super specific on an availability date. After Vista, it sure better make it.

Should be interesting to see if Cisco customers upgrade en masse over next 12 months
Cisco channel guru Keith Goodwin sees big pent-up demand (about $9 billion worth) for new Cisco gear, since a ton of it hits end-of-life in FY 2010.

IBM to business partners: Why don't you mingle a little?
IBM nags partners to be more sociable.

Microsoft: Google Apps' Outlook sync breaks Outlook
Microsoft cries foul: Claims Google Apps new Outlook integration breaks Outlook's own search.

1nService bucks economy, adds five new members
Yes, that's five paying members for the group, which comprises North American VARs and integrators.

And here are some perennial favorites, still garnering a ton of views, despite being somewhat, er, long in the tooth. Apparently Channel Marker readers like their databases.

Top ongoing favorites:

Microsoft plots SQL Server 2010
Database market share war resumes
