Dell's acquisition of EqualLogic earlier this year boosted Dell's midmarket storage play -- and, just as importantly, its channel presence. EqualLogic executives, including Bob Skelley, director of the enterprise architecture channel, have taken key roles in helping Dell shift from its direct sales focus to a more partner-friendly model.
In this podcast, Skelley talks about what EqualLogic has done to help build the Dell channel program, and what the future holds for Dell and EqualLogic partners. He also discusses Hewlett-Packard's recent acquisition of LeftHand Networks and its effects on the midmarket storage arena.
This podcast is the second in a two-part series. In part one, Skelley talks about the Dell acquisition and its benefits for EqualLogic partners. To listen to part one, visit the Dell Channel Blog.
