Serguei Beloussov has been chairman and CEO of Parallels, the company best known for technology that lets users run Windows on Macs, since 2003. In that time, he has helped develop Parallels' desktop virtualization and operating system containment strategies.

Beloussov was part of a large Parallels contingent at VMworld 2008 this week, where the company looked to take advantage of changing dynamics in the server and desktop virtualization markets.

In this podcast, recorded at the conference, Beloussov talks about Parallels' desktop virtualization strategy, how it's different from VMware's, and how Parallels and its partners can take advantage of the VMware vs. Microsoft battle.
