Dell partners, both current and prospective, can use the new Dell Channel Blog to learn more about the Dell PartnerDirect program and interact with executives. It's part of a new social media strategy designed to build trust with Dell partners, according to this week's guest, Dell channel community manager Amie Paxton. In addition, Dell uses Twitter to communicate with partners and is considering a Facebook page to promote partner networking.
The SearchITChannel.com staff also talks about Oracle's response to recent channel conflict complaints, led by new channel co-chief John Gray. And senior news writer Rivka Little checks in to discuss Cisco Motion, the new open source mobile applications platform.
