Dell EMC unveiled the addition of Virtustream Enterprise Cloud to its partner program at Dell EMC World 2017, held this week in Las Vegas. Virtustream Storage Cloud was made available to Dell EMC partners in December 2016.
"Dell EMC partners can now partner with Virtustream, and I think it's a game-changer," said Scott Millard, vice president of global channels and alliances at Virtustream, at Dell EMC World 2017. "This is hands-down the strongest partner value proposition in the industry."
Millard said Virtustream offers margin on monthly recurring revenue, tier credit on bookings and other incentives. Additionally, partners can accrue market development funds.
Partners that sell Virtustream have a "significant services opportunity," he said, including cloud strategy and advisory work, migration and onboarding to the Virtustream cloud, and application modernization and platforming.
In addition to Enterprise Cloud and Storage Cloud, Virtustream offers Federal Cloud and Managed Services. At Dell EMC World 2017, Virtustream also introduced the Virtustream Healthcare Cloud, cloud-based hosting for healthcare platforms and applications.
