Technical training and consulting specialist Vortex 6 has launched the latest version of V6 Fusion, a Web-based, automated planning and management application to help Cisco partners meet compliance requirements of the Cisco partner program.
By submitting your personal information, you agree that TechTarget and its partners may contact you regarding relevant content, products and special offers.
New features of V6 Fusion include an executive dashboard that displays a Cisco partner's current compliance status, required actions to correct compliance issues and the costs involved, and deadlines. "What our software does is that it brings all of the information that the partner needs into one place," said Peter Olive, managing director of Vortex 6. "It has all of the rules of the partner program. It has all of their information about how many certified individuals they've got. It's got all of the training in it [and] all of the exams that are required."
V6 Fusion functions as a planning tool to help partners rapidly migrate from the old Cisco partner program to the new program that Cisco announced in March, Olive said. Partners can select the partner tier they would like to migrate to in the new Cisco program, in addition to the specializations or architectures, and Vortex 6 will provide planning information for meeting migration requirements.
Additionally, V6 Fusion also allows partners to sign up for training and exams; generate reports, including reports required for a Cisco audit; and obtain information about expiring certifications.
While V6 Fusion is currently offered as a Cisco partner program management and planning tool, Olive said the company will announce versions of the software for two to three additional large vendor partner programs in 2015.
V6 Fusion is offered to Cisco partners on an annual-license fee basis or as a managed service.
