On Monday at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, Exoprise Systems Inc. announced a new partner program for Microsoft cloud channel partners selling Office 365. The announcement was made in conjunction with the startup's launch of its first product, CloudReady Monitor for Office 365.
The Microsoft Office 365 monitoring solution provides real-time insight into the availability and performance of Office 365 applications, according to the vendor.
Targeting Microsoft Cloud Essential partners looking to expand their Office 365 business, the Exoprise partner program offers sales, assessment and enablement tools, including video-based sales and technical training.
There's no cost to become an Exoprise partner and there are no quotas.
The vendor will also offer partners a white-label program.

The company's go-to-market strategy is 100% indirect channel and will provide leads to its channel partners, who can expect to earn margins of 20%, according to Warren Mead, vice president of sales and business development at Waltham, Mass.-based Exoprise.
"In addition to earning product margins, partners can also bundle in professional services, such as audits, for example, to generate additional revenue," Mead said.
As part of the Exoprise partner program, partners get a free assessment tool that can be used for upfront cost/benefit analysis of moving from premises-based Office 365 to cloud-based Office 365.
"Partners can use the tool to gain credibility with customers by providing an upfront assessment of current email usage and collaboration and to structure a migration plan," said Patrick Carey, vice president of product management and marketing at Exoprise.
The partner program is primarily focused on U.S. partners. It has 60 partners -- 25 of which are Microsoft-managed partners or national systems integrators -- currently onboard. The vendor has also signed up one U.K. partner and one partner based Australia.
Exoprise, along with Microsoft, will also be launching a Premier Partner Program that's by invitation only. Microsoft will select 50 of its top managed partners for the program, according to Mead.
Premier partners will get a beefed-up assessment tool with additional functionality that allows partners to position Office 365 against other email products.
"The goal of the program is to speed up adoption of Office 365," Mead said.
At some point in the future, when the Premier Partner Program achieves a certain level of success, the goal is to provide this enhanced assessment tool to all program partners, he added.
