ConnectWise yesterday announced a software bundle, ModernOffice Suite, that integrates its ConnectWise professional services automation platform with LabTech Software's remote monitoring and management, or RMM, software and Quosal LLC's quote and proposal software. ConnectWise has an ownership investment in LabTech Software and Quosal.
ConnectWise said that this release of the suite represents Phase 1 of a shared roadmap among the three products.

The Phase 1 version -- which includes ConnectWise 2012.1 and ConnectWise 2012.2, LabTech Software 2012.2, and Quosal (with no associated version number) -- facilitates an integrated flow of information about end customers and prospects. It enables auditing of end customers' systems, thereby providing MSPs and VARs with the information to identify system-level replacement opportunities; produces quotes, including option choices and pricing; provides a centralized configuration management repository; offers syncing of opportunities, statuses and related information; and includes workflow capabilities to manage the quote and proposal process.
Jeannine Edwards, director of the ConnectWise-LabTech-Quosal community, said that these features can be found in each of the three separate products if they're used alone -- for instance, if a user has only the Quosal application, he can product quotes for a customer -- but using all three applications means that the information about the customer can be shared from one application to another.
"We're enabling functionality from an integration perspective," Edwards said.
Future iterations of the suite will add integrated functionality around network auditing, system health checks, project syncing and cloud services, according to ConnectWise. The company also said that there is a "dedicated team focused on the vision behind integration of the three platforms."
ConnectWise declined to specify pricing, though it said that there are incentives for VARs or MSPs that buy all three products in the suite.
