Dataram has two levels of channel partners -- Premier and Select -- and divides the U.S. geographically into 10 regions. Each region is represented by one Premier partner and no more than two Select partners. The Premier-level partnerships are already filled, and the company is now concentrating on filling the Select level of its channel partner program.
The company said that one key criterion for recruitment into the Premier level was an expertise in selling both server and storage products and support both types of products for Dataram, while Select-level partners support either servers or storage.
Select-level partners receive market development funds (MDF) and volume incentives. They also receive pricing discounts, though not as favorable as the higher-level Premier partners, and lead registration.
Dataram also sells its products through distributors such as Arrow, Avnet, Ingram Micro and Synnex.
