Developers said that the APIs included in Azure's current Software Development Kits make it necessary to manually manage virtual application instances.
McAfee snarfs up MX Logic
McAfee Inc. is buying MX Logic Inc. -- one of the few remaining independent email security SaaS vendors. The $140 million cash deal was announced last Thursday.
MX Logic's services complement email and Web security capabilities that McAfee acquired in its Secure Computing buyout, according to SearchSecurity.com.
Synnex and Pillar sign distribution deal
Pillar Data Systems is now offering its Axiom Storage Solutions through Synnex Corp.'s affiliated VARs. The distribution deal, announced last week, could broaden Pillar's reach into government, education and healthcare verticals.
