Kaspersky Lab and Juniper Networks extend affiliation

Kaspersky Lab and Juniper Networks have announced an extended partnership integrating Kaspersky antivirus into Juniper's SRX Series Services Gateways and J Series Services Routers.

Juniper said it chose to join forces with Kaspersky because of the company's reputation in the antivirus market as well as its service record. The antivirus technologies will be integrated into Junipers UTM offering on two levels: Full AV and Juniper Networks ExpressAV, a scaled down to better suit high-speed, low-latency networking devices.

Juniper executives said the partnership will provide customers with better threat management tools and endpoint protection.
