Windows 7 system monitoring: Performance Monitor counters

You can view individual counters, many different counters or a group of counters all at once. To add individual counters or groups, click the green plus button on the toolbar, which opens the Add Counters dialog box. Scroll through the Available counters list that displays groups of counters by default. To see counters in a group, click the down arrow to the right of the group name. Click to highlight a single counter or a group name, and click Add. Click OK to return to the main window. All monitored counters appear in the graph, with data updated continuously.
