Access to the Symantec PartnerNet portal requires enrollment in the Symantec Partner Program as well as a SymAccount. SymAccount is Symantec's user account management system for business users.
The Symantec PartnerNet portal can be customized for different user roles at partner organizations. For instance, partner salespeople can review sales portfolios and access competitive pricing lists, distributor lists, quote and SKU generators; while partner technical engineers can access administration tools, technical documentation and training through Symantec University. The portal provides a dashboard that allows partners to view the status of tech support requests and options for customization, as well as self-service capabilities to help partners manage their own partnership online.
